Yesterday afternoon, on June 27th, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. sharp, the Column took its final place. It was an enormous effort and a nail-biter until the last moment. The erection was hampered by storm and rain and the crane blocked for several hours. The NDR and Sat1 could not stay until the line-up, but still made some very nice TV contributions in the evening.
We are exhausted but totally happy. Now the column will be connected to the power grid and the steps will come in a few days. We invite you now to celebrate the inauguration on August 26, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. with us.
